See what changes between dental visits.
Dentri is an electric toothbrush with a small camera that photographs your teeth and gumline while you brush. Over weeks and months, it shows you what's changing, so your next checkup isn't the first time you hear about it.
Takes 20 seconds. No payment, no pre-orders. We'll only email you about Dentri.
The design
A toothbrush first.
-
Camera on the neck
A small camera sits just below the brush head, angled up toward your teeth.
-
Replaceable head
The brush head clicks off and gets swapped like any electric brush. The camera stays with the handle.
-
You can see when it's on
Two small lights beside the lens glow whenever the camera is taking photos.
-
Stands upright to charge
It dries upright on its base, and the camera can't turn on while it's docked.
Concept render. Design may change.
How it works
Nothing new to learn. Just brush.
-
1
Brush like you already do
Two minutes, twice a day. There's no routine to follow and no new habit to build.
-
2
It takes photos as you go
A small camera on the neck, just below the replaceable brush head, photographs your teeth and gumline during each session.
-
3
The app shows what changed
Photos are lined up over time, so you can see how your teeth and gumline look compared with last month, and share a timeline with your dentist.
Honest limits
What Dentri can and can't show you
A camera on a toothbrush sees the surface. That's useful for tracking how things look over time. It isn't a dental exam.
Shows you
- How your teeth and gumline look over weeks and months
- When something looks different from last time
- A photo timeline you can bring to your dentist
Can't
- Check for or diagnose cavities, gum disease or any other condition
- See inside a tooth or below the gumline. That takes x-rays and an exam.
- Replace your regular checkups and cleanings
Dentri could be wrong. If something looks different or feels off, see your dentist.
Privacy
A camera in your bathroom should follow rules.
These are the commitments we're designing Dentri around.
On only while you brush
The camera runs during a brushing session and at no other time.
You can see when it's on
Two small lights beside the lens glow whenever it's taking photos.
Off on the stand
The camera can't turn on while the brush is on its charging stand.
Your photos, your call
We plan to process photos on your phone wherever we can, and you'll be able to delete your photo history at any time.
